Ted Bear, Fire Marshall and Ata Rangi will line up for the Marshall stable at Melton’s Friday meeting.
Youngster Ted Bear will make his raceday debut in a heat of a feature for 2-y-o colts and geldings.
He’s prepared for the race with a win in a qualifying trial at Melton on December 3.
Stablemate Fire Marshall contests the second heat in the same 2-y-o feature, and will make the third appearance of his career that has so far produced a second placing at Balarat and a sixth at home track Cranbourne.
In the final race, gelding Ata Rangi will start from the second row between the race favourites Highlighthartbreaka and Art Ideal.
He ran second at his last start, which was the first in his current campaign following a four-month break.
