Kyle Marshall Racing fought out the finish and landed the quinella for stable supporters in Cambridge Raceway’s 2700m event for 3-year-olds.
Driver Kyle Marshall got the judge’s decision by half a head with Onedin Punter after outpacing KMR-trained Itsthefinalcountdown, driven by Peter Ferguson.
Turning for home in the fourth race at Cambridge’s January 28 meeting, the black and red colours took control and the only question was which driver would get across the line first.
Onedin Punter got the call, having run 3-24.5 for the event.
