Son Of Mac will start a new campaign over a mile in a $15,000 feature event at Melton on Saturday night.
The four-year-old will start off the second row, fresh after a nine-month spell.
He’s prepared with three barrier trials, two of which were at Melton.
He’s now won A$93,294 from his 16-race career, in which he’s won seven races and been placed three times.
