Three-year-old colt Smoken Ace has hit winning form with an effortless performance in a $10,000 feature at home track Cranbourne.

Driver Chris Alford took the hot favourite to the front, where he controlled the pace of the race, and then steered him down the straight for his sixth career win at his 14th start.

Smoken Ace finished more than six metres ahead of his nearest rival.

On the Australian tote, Smoken Ace paid $1.20 for the win and $1.04 for the place. In New Zealand, Kyle Marshall Racing supporters earned $1.10 and $1.00 at the TAB.
