Stable newcomer Nicholas Cage will race over his favoured 2240m distance when he starts a new campaign at Melton on Saturday.
The five-year-old gelding has been racing at Menangle since moving to Australia from New Zealand in December 2023.
After a three-month spell, Nicholas Cage is ready to resume in his debut for Kyle Marshall Racing, after winning a barrier trial at Cranbourne (Sep 29) and running third in a trial at Melton (Oct 1).
Nicholas Cage has earned more than A$133,000 in a 33-start career which includes nine wins, including four over the 2200m trip.
