Trainer Kyle Marshall and partner Sophie Jefferies are settling into their new stables at Cranbourne, Victoria, and are looking forward to taking their first starters to local tracks.

They have relocated from Cambridge, New Zealand, and are busily establishing Kyle Marshall Racing at their new base.

Trainers based at Cranbourne have full access to three training tracks, including a 950-metre race track, a 1200-metre jog track and a 600-metre sand track.

About 200 meetings a year are easily accessible, with the home track hosting 26 meetings a year and two neighbouring clubs racing 24 times a year.

Cranbourne also hosts 26 trials a year.

“The facilities are excellent,” Marshall said. “We’re really looking forward to a fresh start.”

Meanwhile, Marshall has bought two yearlings at the Nutrien Equine Standardbred Yearling Sale in Melbourne, and invites expressions of interest from potential owners who might want to take ownership stakes in them.
