Hugo Maguire, The Roan Ranger and Ruebe Starbuck to race at Cranbourne

Hugo Maguire returns for a fresh campaign when he lines up at home track Cranbourne on Sunday.

The gelding has had a two-month spell and will resume over the 2080m distance in a heat of the Blue Hills Rise Stawell Pacing Cup.

Hugo Maguire is chasing his eighth career win from 24 starts, and has earned more than A$51,000 for his efforts.

The Roan Ranger starts in the opening even, the final of the Decron Cranbourne Pace, over the mile.

The gelding has three wins from his 25 career starts, and has earned more than A$13,000 so far.

In the final event of the meeting, Ruebe Starbuck has her second career start, having drawn the inside alley.

The filly’s last start was in June, also at Cranbourne.
