Stable duo Eyecon and Smoken Ace to line up in $10,000 event at home track

Stablemates Eyecon and Smoken Ace will compete against each other in a $10,000 race at home track Cranbourne on Sunday.

Seven-year-old gelding Eyecon has the inside draw at the mobile, and will have regular driver Sophie Jefferies in the cart.

He’s looking for his third win this season, and his eighth of a 57-race career in which he’s earned almost A$50,000.

Smoken Ace goes from the outside lane and will be driven by Chris Alford.

The three-year-old colt is relatively lightly-raced, having won five races from 13 starts, and with stake earnings of A$50,235.
