Bach, the winner of 13 races in a 40-start career, chases a $22,500 winning stake in the meeting’s opening race. The gelding will have Chris Alford in the driving seat.
Hugo Maguire won the last time he raced at Geelong, in June, and will go over the mile distance in search of his eighth career victory.
Son Of Mac has been in top recent form, with a win and two seconds, and he’ll contest a $17,500 features over 2100m.
