Six-year-old mare Copacabana will head to a well-deserved retirement from the racetrack and a future role as a broodmare.

Her retirement ends a 62-race career in which the trotter amassed nine wins and 18 placings, earning A$93,805 for her efforts.

Known to all at the Kyle Marshall Racing stables as Lola, Copacabana was raced by the Club 21 Syndicate.

Sharing news of her retirement, KMR said: “She has brought so much happiness and smiles to many faces as i’m sure she will continue to do so as a broodmare. We cannot wait to see the progeny she will produce as she becomes a mumma in her future!”

Copacabana (Andover Hall – Bradacrossthebeam) retires with a best winning mile rate of 1:57.7.
