He goes into the final at Stawell on Sunday after running second in his heat of the feature at Cranbourne.

Three-year-old filly Ruebe Starbuck has her third start when she goes over the 2180m distance in the eighth race.
She won at her last attempt, easily winning her maiden at Cranbourne.
