Pair get chance to break through at Sunday’s meeting at home track

Eyecon and Can Be A Ruebe get the chance to break through for wins they race at home track Cranbourne on Sunday.

Seven-year-old gelding Eyecon has been knocking on the door recently, with six placings in his last seven starts.

On Sunday, he’ll be driven again by Sophie Jefferies and will race over the mile, a distance in which he’s scored three of his seven career wins.

Later in the programme, three-year-old Can Be A Ruebe will aim to clear maiden ranks.

After a first-up second placing at Geelong, she was the beaten favourite last time out at Cranbourne.
