Australiasia’s most successful harness racing driver, Chris Alford, has taken the drive behind Wharewhiti for a 2150m event at Yarra Valley on Wednesday (September 20).
Alford, who has almost 8,000 career wins, will team with Wharewhiti who has drawn lane 3 behind the mobile barrier.
Trained by Kyle Marshall Racing, the five-year-old races for a $7,000 stake in an 8-horse field.
Alford has just returned to Australia from New York after finishing fifth in the $US1mil Yonkers International on Aussie trotter Aldebaran Zeus.
